Hi, I go by way too many names. My nickname amongst friends (offline, at least) is "Dusk Man", or "Dusky" for short.
I prefer "Dusky", thank you. Got it from my "night life", a.k.a. "he doesn't go to bed when a man really should sleep and wanders the town a bit if he isn't online.....night is his day".
A common phrase would be "the Dusk Man lives again", said whenever I luck out in something. It got really noted after I walked away from a massive car accident, unharmed.
Everyone lucked out in that one...except for the flipped cars.
Welcome to Louisiana, folks.
.......and yes, I did put my nickname on one of my characters from "The Wolves of Louisiana". Hey, he is my character......shut up it fits him, he is based loosely on me.
--I'm the Cajun cowboy walking the roads. Don't touch my hat, it's for wearing, not feeling.
--I'm the guy who just won't say "no" to a damn fight if it bugs me, and goes completely batshit BERSERK during one....bad reputation there, and I don't care who knows about it nowadays.
--I'm currently enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. I am working on getting fit for bootcamp, which I ship-out to on March.
Just....your style....it has the mood, the lighting....the......EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
The only thing I can nitpick is the pole: make it long enough to go past him and towards the right of the picture, so it doesn't look like he's holding.....well, heh....his own pole.....but I'm being nitpicky.
Just............so much win. Your pictures give the mood I'm after.
Found this ironic in a good way....posted Feb 9th 2010, 10:52AM

-Catholic priest helped Patrick Sean Payton guide Saints to victory-
A higher power might just have helped New Orleans coach Patrick Sean Payton take his team to their first-ever Super Bowl and their stunning victory. Payton, a Chicago native, is named after an Irish priest known variously as "The Miracle Priest" and the "Rosary Priest."
Fr. Patrick Peyton, known as the famous "rosary priest," was said to have performed miracles. Fr. Peyton, a Mayo native who died in 1992, would be pleased that a boy named after him ended up leading a team called the Saints to the Super Bowl. Fr. Peyton was famous for his devotion to the Knock Shrine in County Mayo where Our Lady is said to have appeared to locals in 1879.
Pope John Paul showed up there in 1979 to celebrate the miracle.
